What Kind Of Eid-ul-Fitr Is This Due To The Coronavirus?

For the first time in my life, I am not planning for Eid and I am not looking forward to it. This is sad. After all, Eid-ul-Fitr is my favorite festival throughout the year, more than Eid-ul-Adha because I get a lot of Eidi on this Eid.

Regarding the celebration of this Eid, my father said that Allah Almighty has given us the gift of Eid as a reward for our fasting in Ramadan. And I think the reward for the fasting and prayers we do in Ramadan has come to us. That is why we celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with enthusiasm.

We also fasting this Ramadan and followed all the commands of Allah Almighty. And we’ve had a hard time because of the Coronavirus. Because of this we do not hold Iftar parties for our family and friends, nor do we order any food from outside, nor do we go shopping when finally some bazaars open. There are no new bangles, no new shoes, and no new accessories for anyone. It would not be wrong to say that we have not made any special preparations for Eid this year.

But seriously, I don’t mind any of the above, because I realize that what we already have is enough to make it a celebration. After all, the celebration is about how we feel and not about what we’re wearing.

Coronavirus Cases Reported

What Kind Of Eid-ul-Fitr Is This Due To The Coronavirus?

Many cases of coronavirus have been reported this week. As soon as the lockdown has ended, markets, parks, and other places have become crowded. For the first time, people have been criticized for the coronavirus. I am just thankful that at least my whole family is safe and with me. And everyone else we can’t meet on this Eid is safe in their homes.

I can’t even imagine what it is like for people who have fallen victim to this terrible virus themselves or their loved ones and their health is bad or gone. For them, Eid is not at all. And for doctors and paramedics, who are risking their lives to fight for the lives of others, they may not be in a position to celebrate in any way with or without their families.

It is so true that we learn to be thankful when we see the suffering of others. These days we are all in deep trouble, and it is very difficult for us to put it all together mentally. We all have to find our way to support each other in this difficult time and create a ray of hope, another reason to celebrate.

Stay Home, Stay Safe

I had to bring myself back from a very dark place to see Eid-ul-Fitr as a time when I have so much to be thankful for and so much to celebrate. My whole family is safe, working mostly from home, we are earning a steady income and we have managed to spend more than two months in lockdown and Ramadan by staying at home with our loved ones.

Well, coming back to Eid, let me tell you that I have now decided that I will do my best to make this Eid as pleasant as ever, albeit in a different way. The important thing is how we feel or create things, and I plan to take things as positively as possible and make sure that none of my family members are affected by the lockdown. The person should not feel.
