Earth Water: Where Did Earth’s Water Come From?

Biological science has advanced a lot today, but research is still going on about how water came to Earth. Was there any creature on earth before us that made water or is there some other reason behind it all?

We know that three-quarters of the earth is water and most of it is seawater while only 3% is “clean water”.

It should be noted that we humans are only able to drink this 3% share, but today we are making this unusable by using this clean water relentlessly.

We are all using water, but there are very few people who are thinking about making clean water, but can we still make water today as water existed on earth about 3 billion years ago?

This cannot be answered with 100% certainty, but yes, there is no doubt that the two theories put forward by scientists about the existence of water can be accepted as true by scientists. The ideas presented are as follows.

The First Theory

As A Result Of The Chemical Process, Water Came Into Existence On Earth

According to this first theory, 3 billion years ago, when the Earth was about one billion years old and the Earth was slowly cooling down, water came into being as a result of a chemical reaction. Remember that the Earth is also hydrogen. And from the same cloud of helium gas that gave rise to the solar system’s sun and the rest of the planets.

In the past, the earth was like a ball of fire, containing various minerals. We know that an atom, which is the basic armor of matter, will form a relationship with another atom when its surroundings an environment that includes specific temperatures and pressures would be better for matching.

In The Beginning,

The earth was very hot, so the atoms came together to form new molecules (a collection of atoms), but as the earth cooled, different atoms were found and new molecules were formed. The first cell (the core of living things) that was the first living thing to form was hydrogen sulfide gas from a volcano in the atmosphere and the hydrocarbons (molecules in the earth) Take it as food and get energy from it.

The basic principle of these small creatures is to grow from one to two every 20 minutes, as their population grew rapidly and many generations were born since the evolutionary process had begun. Subsequent generations had changed from their ancestors and began to produce oxygen gas in the atmosphere.

As their population grew, so did the oxygen and gas, and the living creatures whose main food was hydrogen sulfide, not oxygen, began to die and perished.

Ozone Belt

Oxygen gas gradually formed an “ozone belt” around the planet, as well as oxygen found in other minerals in the soil and this chemical process resulted in a water molecule containing 2 atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.

This process is called chemical reduction, because there was an abundance of both hydrogen (in minerals) and free oxygen (in the air), so water also began to form rapidly and all the pits on the earth were filled with water. It was already there, so the process of cloud formation and the onset of rains also began, which made the earth cooler and colder, allowing different kinds of living things to flourish.

The Second Theory

The Arrival Of Water On The Earth Through The Meteor

In the twentieth century, scientists have discovered a lot of new things about meteors and comets. We know that meteors are rocky substances that came into being with the formation of the solar system and if we continue to form them into planets and the sun. It would not be wrong to say leftover garbage.

Scientists have also observed these rocks falling to the ground. What do these rocks consist of? Their examination not only gave us a lot of information about the condition of the earth and the rest of the planets but also revealed that they also contain water!!

Since at that time scientists had not seen water on any planet other than Earth in the solar system, they were astonished at this discovery. It has been raining on these planets and it is very possible that these planets have brought water with them to the earth.

This does not mean that the existence of water on Earth came only from the rain of the planets, but that most of this water came into being due to chemical reductions and partly due to these planets.

However, neither of these two theories can be refuted, because both arguments prove that the existence of water on earth has its own significance.

We all know the importance of water in our lives, we can live without water for a maximum of 5 days after which our death is certain so we should avoid wasting clean water so that we May we live in peace and may our generations live a better life.
