Bats

Bats top the list of dirtiest animals in the world. They are some of the most hated animals around, and they have a reputation for being ugly and bloodthirsty. People have a reason to shudder at them, after all, bloodsuckers themselves are hosts to a list of pathogens.

So, in other words, they are also plagued by bloodthirsty creatures, so it turns out to be a vicious cycle of shit.

Vultures

When confronted by an animal, these creatures – members of the weasel family – flap their tails to appear more threatening.

The polecat will then turn around and expel this foul-smelling liquid from its anal glands and onto all of its enemies. The smell and taste, should it hit one’s mouth, would be enough to make anyone leave the striped polecat alone!

To boost the baby koala’s immune system, the mother koala feeds the baby her own and her mate’s waste.

What other dirty secrets does the koala bear have? Did you know that a large proportion of these marsupials fight the sexually transmitted disease, chlamydia?

Koalas get sick from Chlamydia picorum, but luckily, researchers are working on finding an antibiotic that won’t leave koalas with as many side effects.
